Pre Press
We can help design your packaging, or you can send us your existing artwork on disk, email or through our FTP server.
Currently we accept files in the following formats: Illustrator, Acrobat , Quark, Photoshop, and Indesign. Mac Pro computers take your artwork, and send it to our new JDF digital automated pre-press system from Heidelberg.
The Print Ready system rips the artwork, checking for any issues automatically, then outputs colour accurate proofs on the Epson Pro 9800. As well, the pre-press system automatically sends a pdf via email for customer approval. Once the proofs are accepted, The Print Ready system imposes the artwork, and Digital plates are made using our new Heidelberg SupraSetter - a completely automated CTP system.
CIP3 files are generated and sent to the press room to automatically set up the printing press for the production run.
Carton samples are made with our Graphtec sample maker to ensure proper size and style to meet customer specifications.
